Devlog 2, inventory progress


Devlog 2,  just a small update. Inventory scene is being developed slowly but surely.

I'm taking quite a lot of inspiration from Resident Evil. In fact, I was thinking of making a grid-based inventory at first like in RE4.  But I decided to keep it simple right now though it's an idea worth visiting. From the left the items shown are:

  1. Gun, the only weapon that would be available in the game. Someone left it behind after the station was abandoned. If you can't find or craft a gun, you would need to stealthily creep around and avoid combat somehow.
  2. A penetration tool similar to Flipper Zero, might name it Zipper Two just for fun.
  3. Scrap Collector, scraps would be the currency to upgrade and craft items.
  4. Bullets, ammo for the gun of course. But probably I'll move it away from the visual part of the inventory
  5. Medicine, a futuristic retroviral medicine that boosts the body's immune system making it stronger. The medicine can be found around the station since it was once a research facility. But they would be very, very limited.

Hopefully I can add more substantial features in the next devlog (or maybe a completed inventory system?)
